“Bart Migal is simply the best engineer I’ve ever been lucky enough to work with…and that is saying something. I’ve had the good fortune to record five cast albums, one major film soundtrack, and a number of other projects, on both sides of the Atlantic, with legends like Phil Ramone, Mike Berniker and Tommy Krasker, and I believe Bart is really one of a kind at the very top of the craft. His unique sensitivity to music, his quiet and expert demeanor in the studio, his fluent command of all aspects of technology, all combine with his talent for and his ability to collaborate. Tuning in on the artistic vision of others, and bringing that vision to reality requires a kind of magic, and I would recommend Bart Migal as a master wizard of the recording studio in a heartbeat to any and everyone.”
-Maury Yeston

Working with Bart Migal you get a mix that will hold up in any industry meeting and be ready for the radio. In a fast paced music industry, he provides quick quality. You won’t be disappointed!”

“I’ve worked closely with Bart on a number of recordings and I can’t recommend him enough. Not only is he the nicest man on the planet, but he’s quick, smart, and one of the best sound engineers around. If Tommy Krasker wants to work with him, you know he’s got to be good. The best works with the best. I’m thoroughly happy with the work he did on two of my CDs, “Greenwich Time” and “Death Takes a Holiday”. Run, don’t walk, to work with Bart Migal!”
-Rebecca Luker

-Andrea Martin, songwriter for Mary J. Blige, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Toni Braxton, ect.
“Bart Migal has engineered and mixed two of my recent projects – ADD1NG MACH1NE and A MINISTER’S WIFE. In both instances, not only was Bart incredibly collaborative and receptive to anything I said or suggested regarding the direction of the mix, but the execution and final projects were executed to perfection. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be in the hands of an engineer who is not only a master of his craft, but is on your side working toward not only the result you wanna hear, but the the result that will blow your mind…”
-Joshua Shmidt, composer
“I worked with Bart Migal on my first solo studio album “Strings Attached” last year. As an artist I was searching for someone who would be sentitive to my creative desires but also guide me through an area where I felt I needed support. He was kind, knowledgeable, and very good at listening to all of my wants and needs. When I go into the studio again there is no one I would rather have by my side. I would recommend him to anyone, new or seasoned, as he is an all around fantastic engineer.”
-Anne Steele
“Bart is a fantastic engineer/producer. I’ve known him for years from being in the studio working on various albums with PS Classics and Nonesuch Records, and so when I had need of a someone with special skills, I immediately turned to him. I had arranged and orchestrated a 12-minute symphonic suite in honor of Stephen Sondheim’s birthday in 2010. It was recorded by Carl Davis and the 65-piece BBC Concert Orchestra at Abbey Road, and while they played it very well and the recording engineer, Phil Rowlands, had done a good job capturing it, the rehearsal and recording time were extremely limited. So I needed Bart to take the semi-edited tracks and make a performance. Bart is a great musician who can not only read a score well, but has an intuitive grasp of musical flow. Fortunately, he had also worked on many previous Sondheim recordings, so he knew the material. He was able to make delicate edits, shift tempi, and adjust dynamics without making any of the changes obvious to the listener. The result was a terrific recording that was appreciated by me and Steve Sondheim, who is quite particular. I would highly recommend Bart’s services for any project.”
–Sean Patrick Flahaven, Music Director/Orchestrator/Composer/Producer and Music Administrator for Stephen Sondheim
“When I started working with Bart Migal, he came highly recommended, so I was not surprised by his knowledge and professionalism, but I was quickly impressed by his dedication and passion. Bart is an extraordinary editor! He is a natural collaborator, with a unique musical intuition and unsurpassed skills. We’ve been working together for several years, and I’d hate to do a project without him.”
-Karen Chester
